In addition to catering for events and weddings, our kitchen crew bakes, churns ice cream and preserves produce grown on the farm. If you are staying in one of the accommodation options, ask about booking ready-made meals or braai packs and ordering extra bread and preserves.

Check out the small (but well stocked) farm shop in the kitchen at The Old House and take some Kalmoesfontein with you when you depart.

There is also the option to book an informal wine tasting, followed by the farm lunch - twice a week on Wednesday’s and Friday’s at 11h30. Thursday nights are pizza nights, loved by locals and newcomers alike - so if you are in the area, book to get them fresh from the wood fired oven!

We also host ‘Pizza and a Show’ on the ‘select’ First Friday of (almost) every month - keep an eye on our social media or ask at The Old House, your favourite local act might just be up next.

The Kalmoesfontein Kitchen works on online reservations only and we require a small deposit to confirm the booking.
